Step 2 - Dealing With Distractions

You will find yourself engaging with a particularly nasty, accusatory or questioning thoughts. Take each thought captive. Use your imagination and put each such thought in a ‘balloon,’ say, ‘I forgive you, you can pass on now thank you.’ Let the falling water wash it away. Bring yourself back standing under the waterfall and continue saying ‘I AM LOVED, ‘I BELONG.’ These words are not a mantra, but a ‘place holder’ for your intention.

Forgiving these thoughts is a recognition of them, and allowing you to now look beyond them to who you really are. I Am.

Be persistent and always finish the time you alot. I suggest you begin with 3 minutes morning and evening. Remember, even the fleeting thought: ‘Ah! I can’t do this,’ is a thought to let pass by!
